The loading of community levels has come a long way. In the earliest version of Mallowventure, back in 2012, you loaded custom levels by putting the single file in the 'levels' folder and typing in the name of the level at the 'load' screen. This was a horrible way to do it. Now, level files can be bundled with a thumbnail, and whatever other custom goodies we allow the game to use, in a .zip archive. You can then 'install' new levels and the game will extract the .zip and put the contents in the levels folder for you. Then, the game will search through your custom levels folder and display them for you to simply click on and play!
Another thing we a toying with is the idea of level packs! This would simply be a sequence of levels that wan be loaded in the same way.
We are working on some lovely stuff!

Here's a very early look at the (currently ugly) custom level select screen. Obviously I need to work on the spacing of the level cards.
